By activating the built in video motion detection with variable sensitivity for each camera the recorder will only record when the cameras see movement or activity.The recording can be played back in 4 or 8 way split screen mode or individual full screen mode on any HDMI TV or VGA monitor at up to 25 times recording speed.Recorded activity or still frames can be copied onto DVD or PC for storage via USB .The DVR can be connected to a broadband router which enables live and recorded images to be monitored anywhere in the world over the internet on a laptop ,PC,  mobile phone or ipad.
A telephone recording interface can be added to record both sides
